BLAIR UNDERWOOD FIRED FOR REFUSING BI-SEXUAL ROLE

Hollywood agents are buzzing that the show “DIRTY SEXY MONEY” was pulled from the schedule after Blair Underwood refused for his character to play a bi-sexual role. One agent said that “the show isn’t officially canceled because the station is looking for a replacement but is afraid to alienate viewers”.

Despite fans petitioning on line, ABC has unofficially decided to cancel “Dirty Sexy Money” according to co-star Blair Underwood.“As far as I’m concerned, we’re not doing any more shows,” says the actor, who played Simon Elder on the series. “ABC officially doesn’t want to use the C-word—canceled—but we’re not on the schedule. I would pretty much say we’re canceled.”

Apparently Underwood, who’s often played the “sexual black-man” in a number of films in TV roles was “furious” at the thought of his character being bisexual.

More interestingly, Underwood’s agent is concerned that the role could taint his image as an actor and prevent him from being accepted by black movie goers.

The veteran actor seems to be taking the controversy in stride as he said in a recent statement, “My dad told me I should have something prepared just in case,” Underwood says. ‘If there’s a possibility, be prepared”.

It’s bad enough that Hollywood has casted Underwood as a woman-beater in two movies, now they want the brotha to straddle the sexuality fence too; that’s just messed up. I have never even seen the show and had no interest in watching it, so it won’t surprise me if it in fact gets canned.

Is it any wonder he refused. we are so close minded and hateful when it comes to the gay peeps a black actor WOULD consider it career suicide to try an “out there” role. ahh.. testosterone overload and bravado isn’t giving our women H.I.V. boys.. Things aint adding up.

I just don’t understand why black people are always so uptight about homosexuality. It’s too extreme. Those who are straight are womanizers; those who are “DL” screw everything that moves; and those who are gay flame hot enough to burn buildings.
Why can’t African Americans act like the rest of humanity including blacks of enlightened cultures? This nonsense isn’t so common in European countries and Canada. Even South Africa has gay marriage laws.
